Pinnacle snowsports school
Pinnacle Snowsports is based in Hokkaido, Japan, offering ski and snowboard lessons and skills training at three major resorts: Niseko, Rusutsu, and Kiroro. Our instructor team is built around internationally recognized certifications (CASI, CSIA, NZSIA, SBINZ, APSI), and we teach in Mandarin, Cantonese, English, and Japanese.
Whether you’re trying skiing or snowboarding for the first time, planning a family trip, or aiming to level up with off-piste terrain guiding in powder and tree runs, we help you build safe, consistent technique and long-term confidence on snow. We also provide instructor training, CSIA exam preparation, and coaching designed to support steady, sustainable progression.
About us
We’re a team of instructors on a mission to make skiing easier to understand. Our founding coaches include several CSIA Level 3 instructors with extensive teaching experience, who have spent years coaching and training on the front lines at Hokkaido resorts. We specialize in breaking down complex skills into clear, practical steps you can drill on the snow—and review afterwards—so skiers from all backgrounds can improve steadily at their own pace.
We believe great coaching isn’t just “taking you skiing.” It’s helping you progress safely with the right methods: reading snow conditions, understanding movement, building confidence, and ultimately taking control of your line choice, speed, and rhythm.
Our promise: safety and your goals come first, and you’ll leave every lesson with clear next-step practice guidance and progression recommendations.
Our Features
Our instructors have taught in New Zealand, Canada, Japan (Hokkaido,Niesko), China and many other countries. They have many years of teaching experience under their belts and are full of patience and enthusiasm. All of them hold internationally recognized ski instructor qualifications, with their excellent communication skills and to adapt to changing cir We have also invited CSIA Level 4 examiners and Demo Team member to join our team. Their understanding and experience with skiing and the industry will help us bringing you a professional and rewarding ski experience of the highest standards.
International certifications and structured training
Our instructors hold internationally recognized ski-instructor certifications and follow proven training systems, including CASI, CSIA, NZSIA, SBINZ, and APSI. The advantage of cross-system expertise is simple: we can reach the same technical goal with more precise breakdowns and more suitable drills—matched to each student’s fitness level, fear points, and learning pace.
Lessons in Mandarin / Cantonese / English / Japanese
We teach in Mandarin, Cantonese, English, and Japanese to ensure key safety commands, movement cues, and terrain/snow-condition decisions are understood accurately. This reduces the learning barrier while improving safety and accelerating progress.
A complete pathway: from first-time experience to advanced skills to instructor training
Many schools focus only on beginners or only on advanced guiding. PINNACLE’s strength is a complete learning roadmap: First-time experience → Family lessons → Terrain guiding → Advanced tree/powder skills → Instructor training → CSIA certification preparation.
Why Choose us
Goal-driven coaching, not one-size-fits-all lessons
We start by confirming your goals first, then build the lesson around what you actually want to achieve—rather than forcing you into a fixed template.
Putting snow conditions and terrain at the center of learning
In Hokkaido, real progress isn’t only about movements. It’s also about reading snow conditions, choosing the right line, and managing speed with control and confidence.
Breaking skills down using certification-level standards
We use the language and frameworks from international instructor systems to break down each skill. This helps you clearly understand where you are right now—and what “next level” looks like.
Three major resorts: Niseko, Rusutsu, and Kiroro
Choose your resort based on your accommodation and itinerary. We’ll recommend the best training zones and time slots based on crowd levels, snow conditions, and your goals.
FAQ
Do you offer lessons in Mandarin/Cantonese/English/Japanese?

年齡理論上來說是上不封頂,但是如果您有任何已知的健康狀況可能會影響到您在課上的安全請提前告知我們。
How are family lessons arranged?
Because adults and children often learn differently and progress at different speeds, we generally recommend taking separate lessons.
If parents prefer to ski together as a family, we can arrange a joint lesson—but the instructor may focus more on the student who needs the most attention. Thank you for your understanding.
If parents don’t join the lesson but don’t want to miss the special moments, you’re welcome to watch and take photos from a spot that won’t interfere with the class.
What level do I need for powder, tree runs, moguls, or high-performance coaching?
Participants must be at least 14 years old to join this camp.
This camp is for skiers who can confidently ski with parallel turns on blue runs or above and want to level up their skills. It’s also ideal if you’re considering becoming an instructor or want to improve your current level.
Which resorts do you teach at?
We offer lessons and training at Niseko, Rusutsu, and Kiroro in Hokkaido. We can choose the best location based on your accommodation and itinerary.
Do you offer instructor training and CSIA certification preparation?
Yes. We provide instructor training and CSIA exam preparation, including skill breakdowns, demo quality, teaching structure, and targeted pre-exam feedback.
What international certifications do your instructors hold?
Our team integrates multiple international instructor systems, including CASI, CSIA, NZSIA, SBINZ, and APSI, and uses a structured approach to support steady progression.
