Our founding members consists of CSIA level 3 instructors with extensive experience in the industry. We are passionate about skiing and want to spread the enthusiasm to others. We founded the ski school with the vision of providing the most professional and tailored lesson experience for those who love skiing.
Ski and enjoy Niseko with ease
Our instructors have taught in New Zealand, Canada, Japan (Hokkaido,Niesko), China and many other countries. They have many years of teaching experience under their belts and are full of patience and enthusiasm. All of them hold internationally recognized ski instructor qualifications, with their excellent communication skills and to adapt to changing cir We have also invited CSIA Level 4 examiners and Demo Team member to join our team. Their understanding and experience with skiing and the industry will help us bringing you a professional and rewarding ski experience of the highest standards.

Instructor Team
We have a professional team of ski instructors, all internationally certified with extensive teaching experience. They are well-versed in skiing techniques and methods, capable of precisely and effectively improving skiers’ skill levels.
I have been teaching skiing for 18 years, and somewhere in there I did 22 winters in a row, as I did back to back seasons working in Canada and Mount Buller Australia. So I have close to 30 winters under my belt 🙂

Greg worked his way up through the certification levels over the years and become a trainer in 2016. He brings huge stoke to the SBINZ training crew, and loves helping guide new instructors in to this rewarding industry.
Other hobbies include, attempting to play musical instruments, surfing, mountain biking, sailing and have had a nudge at paragliding.

My journey began in 2013 as a ski instructor, where I have developed a deep understanding of the sport and the unique challenges that come with it. Since then, I have worked my way up to more significant roles, including Team Leader and Trainer, helping manage and train new instructors.

With over 10 years experience, Mereana still absolutely loves teaching skiing! She is an NZSIA Trainer and Examiner and has instructed in Queenstown, Canada and Niseko. Recently she returned to university gaining a BSc in Exercise and Sport Science and a Masters in Physiotherapy with an interest in movement analysis and performance .
She enjoys skiing powder, bumps and groomers but mostly loves to share her knowledge so that everyone feels confident to enjoy and explore the mountains.
