About CSIA

The CSIA (Canadian Ski Instructors’ Alliance) ski instructor is the most recognized ski instructor certification system in Canada, with its pathway consists of 4 levels.

Level 1 is an introductory certification for ski teaching, primarily for instructors teaching beginners. Starting from Level 2, the required task and terrain difficulty increase, with higher demand on skiing performance and teaching abilities.

Levels 3 and above require more comprehensive skills and precise manoeuvres, including long turns, short turns, and moguls. Each certification level emphasizes the safety component. Through systematic training, you will build a robust foundation for skiing techniques and teaching methodologies, while improving your skiing and instructional skills, and effectively guiding students to enjoy skiing safely.

We also offer specialized pre-course training before each offifical certification level course, conducted by highly experienced trainers. This training will help you become familiar with the skiing standards and teaching framewoeks, and will give you practice opportunities. It will ensure you are well-prepared and set you up for success.
